Management and Supervision

(Associate of Science & Certificate of Achievement)

The Management and Supervision Program is designed to provide students with comprehensive knowledge of supervisory principles and applications, knowledge of human relations, and communication skills. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for entry level positions in Management/supervision and to prepare current lead workers, first line supervisors, and middle managers for promotion to higher level positions in business, industry, government, and/or nonprofit organizations.

Business Information Professional Certificates (Levels 1 & 2)

The Business Information Professional certificates are designed to get students up to speed with the latest software applications primarily used in business, as well as improve professional communication skills. Students learn professional office skills and technologies that meet the requirements of a constantly changing office environment.

Emphasis is placed on state-of-the-art technology, software,  and communication skills necessary to succeed in the current job market.

Level 1
The Level 1 certificate prepares students for entry-level office positions such as customer service representatives, file clerks, receptionists, information clerks, secretaries, administrative assistants, and office administrative support workers.

Level 2
The Level 2 certificate prepares students for mid-level office positions such as Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant, Secretary, Human Resources Assistant, Office Assistant, Office Coordinator or Specialist.
